The flat screen TV, dinghy davits and stainless steel BBQ will be coming off as this well campaigned Queensland boat and her crew attempt to improve on last year’s strong result of fifth overall. The Sunshine Coast crew, led by 1979 Fastnet veteran and Mooloolaba Yacht Club Commodore Ken Down, will have extra incentive when they enter the tactical bull ring as they attempt to make a speedy exit from the Sydney chill and head north to the warm waters and warm hospitality of their home Club.  Best results include last year's Sydney Mooloolaba result, first in the 2005 IRC Queensland state titles and third last year.
